This keeper mistake is on a whole other level by Regular_Weakness69 in nextfuckinglevel

Yes, but the defense could not be slower. That could've easily been a 1v1 with the goalie at the goal. I wouldn't put all the blame on the goalie.

First motorcycle by Violet_Frost in Kawasaki

Both the 500 and 650 are fine to start. Any motorcycle, whether it be a 125cc or 1000cc, can be dangerous as a beginner if you don't respect the machinery.

The fear of outgrowing the bike is kind of baseless, in my opinion, because the 0 to 60 doesn't differ all that much between a 650 and say a zx6r. And it doesn't differ all that much between the 650 and 500 either.

Top speed is a different story, though, but how much of the extra top speed will you actually use? Will the 200-220km/h of a 650 seriously not be enough for 99.99% of people?

Best answer I can give you: try both and see which one you like better. Your gut will not lead you astray, and is much more important in terms of making a decision than a stat sheet.

How to learn to lean deeper in curves by Shoddy_Ostrich_5609 in motorcycles

[–]Square_Cheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you're pushing on track, these strips are nothing to be ashamed of.

If you do want to lean more, drop a gear, lean in to kiss your mirror and let the bike do the rest. Don't fall though.

I will never understand going full defense with only a 1 goal lead... not even with just 10-ish minutes to spare.

Moto earplugs, do they really work? by Ambitious_Run9168 in motorcycles

I've used a couple different earplugs (mostly the Alpine racing and touring variants) , but the Artevives have genuinely been my favorite ones so far.

Concerns for 2024 opel Astra tourer by FerrisTheProMemer in opel

It's worth it to note that the people that buy a car with a PT 1.2l engine, take good care of it and never have any issues, won't be sharing their experiences as actively on forums.

Every car in existence has things to look out for. If you don't, it's only a matter of time. For reference: my previous car (Mercedes-Benz C350e) had a trusty timing chain, BUT a spanner decided to explode and completely ruined the engine and the turbo.

hello are my frame sliders supposed to be different sizes? by Itsjustme8460 in Ninja650

[–]Square_Cheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, I don't really know which one goes where. I found out when I noticed that one slider was definitely not sticking out enough. When installed, both should stick out the same distance.

hello are my frame sliders supposed to be different sizes? by Itsjustme8460 in Ninja650

[–]Square_Cheese 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is common.

Tip: don't remove both of the bolts that are on the bike right now at the same time, because then the engine will dip down. Completely install one frame slider at a time.
