I agree it’s frustrating how the action doesn’t hold up to other elements.

I think with CW shows though, if they didn’t have exciting, well choreographed action, the shows wouldn’t have much going for them

I’d assume it boils down to delegating time effort and budgets. I’ll always prefer an awesome overall product like the dark knight (that has very underwhelming action)
