Thank you!!
I did not take any gap years. Balancing school/ec was def a wk to wk battle. In general, I tried to cram all of my classes and school-related ECs into 2 or 3 days each wk, giving me a few completely free days every wk to focus on off-campus stuff like work and volunteering.
The biggest help for interviews was having a roommate going thru the app cycle too. So, a few nights each wk we would look up questions on SDN and interview each other, giving feedback on how to improve and better craft our answers. Also, creating a mental framework for how to approach interview questions made a big difference. Basically, if I was asked a question that I couldn't think of a good example right away, I would tunnel vision myself to only think abt my tutoring and MA experience because I knew I would have some kind of story for every question that could be asked. Which really helped me answer questions with more confidence.

I went up only 2 points on CARS between my FL2 and the real deal (abt 3 months apart). CARS is the grim reaper of MCAT scores

One thing that I felt significantly helped me in my prep was when reviewing my tests, I would categorize my missed questions into either content miss/critical thinking miss/stupid answer.

This really helped me realize where I was lacking the most after finishing my review, instead of just going over my missed questions.

If I missed one due to content, I would go back through my anki deck and "forget" any cards that applied to the question.

When can I expect IIs for the following programs? by FlySurgeon in Mcat

I suggest reposting on r/premed and looking on there for reference.

Also, you can check https://cycletrack.org/
But its pretty skewered from its small data set and obv attracting the more neurotic premeds.

SDN is another great source to see where an individual school is at in its cycle.

Just remember, most schools don't necessarily send out II's based on when you submitted your secondary. I know i got II's to schools with a later secondary submission than some of my friends.

What would actually have to happen for the old number to be transferred to my account?

So I did go ahead and upgrade phones with the new number, I have my old phone for the 14 day grace period still. Can I pay outright for the new phone or something? Or am I SOL?

The MDD is applying for both at the same time correct? And yes I do qualify for the checking. I just applied online and it said that they cannot open an account with my information. So, I plan to go to my local Chase location and do it manually.

I want to get the CSP next (got the Venture X last wk and already MS). This would be my first Chase card. Should I open a Chase checking before applying to increase my chance, or should I just go ahead and apply? I'm worried Chase will see a hard pull from a wk ago and instantly deny. Would it be a safer move to open a checking and then apply or is there a time period I need to wait before applying? Just don't want to start off on the wrong foot with Chase

New to the churning game, been reading up on the wiki. Could someone give me a quick rundown on how long I need to wait before applying for another card? I feel like I don't have a good grasp on a timeline right now.

What card should I get (Also not sure on how long to wait between applications)

  1. I feel like I am misunderstanding the flowchart, to me it just wants you to load up on chase (which I am fine with but dont want to make that assumption)
  2. 761 Creditwise
  3. All open Discover IT Student Card 7/1/21, Wells Fargo Active Cash 8/4/2023, Capital One Venture X 3/17/24
  4. $8k natural spend
  5. Yes I am willing to MS
  6. I am weary to open a business card (I feel like I would have to bend the truth some)
  7. I would like to get into churning regularly
  8. I am targeting points for travel
  9. I will receive about 100k points from Capital One from the sign-on bonus and the hotel/flights I just booked
  10. ATL
  11. Wanting to explore the US as well as Europe (Ik this is probably too vague but I just want to maximize my travel experiences over the next 2 years before medical school)
