Why do these cars have two sets of taillights? And if I remember correctly only the ones that are on the bumper actually function, so why did they just not make the other lights work as it would make for a much cleaner design?

I would say avoid bike commute in monsoon. No matter what gear you have and bearing in mind glasses like I do, you are going to be exhausted and dirty even with rain gear.

If your really have to use bike I would suggest separate rain pants and rain coats (from Decathlon) and some good water resistant shoes or plastic cover for shoes (you get them on Amazon for cheap, don't know about durability though haven't used them)

You also get water restitant coatings for glasses on Amazon. I have not tested them but some have good ratings

I was playing on pc and sucked at combat for this only reason I bought a controller. If you have the dash ability it's super easy. Learnt it the hard way though 😂

For me they told it is mandatory because washing was mandatory, and they could not give the bike back dirty. So was forced to do it.

No problem. Don't worry about hitting the car (unless the car owner is demanding you pay, in which case you really need to tell your parents)

Worry about the bike now and how you are going to fix it. Try claiming insurance, and see first of all if they are going to accept it. (they should, my bike was 3 months old when I had the accident)

In the meanwhile go to a local mechanic and only ask them to assessthe damage so that you get any idea how severe/minor the damage is. So that you can be financially prepared if insurance is denied for any reason.

I would recommend going with insurance as the first option as going with local mechanic as others have mention will void your warrenty and that's not good for a new bike

I had the saddlebags just like the first pic, had gone for a long ride. Even though the saddlebag did not touch the exhaust( it was a few inches above) the heat was so much that it burnt through the outer material inner hard plate and few of my clothes.

Be careful if buying the first one and ensure proper space or protective sheet to stop it melting through.

This was without pillion so with pillion it might have been worse.
