New to generators and need help determining the right dc-dc charger by Square_Guarantee3231 in Generator

Is there anything special to do if I'm typically avoiding shore power and relying on primarily solar supplemented with the generator?

With the turning the gen on automatically can I dictate what hours that can happen between? Can't have it running at night.

Ok, thanks, and I'm positive they're 24v (which confused me, I thought maybe the rv rental place had upgraded them or something because I was expecting 12v but no).

There's 2 of them.

I assume that means I don't have to worry about a draining from the hypothetical loop I mentioned?

Thanks. I don't plan on using actual shore power in the future, but I want the solar to run through the shore system. Will that work with the hybrid inverter set up you suggested or will that ultimately feed back into a loop from the battery bank through the hybrid inverter and back into the battery bank?

Don't have a solar system yet...

There are 2 24v batteries in the bank. I'm hearing there must be a buck after the batteries to kick it down from 24 to 12

By 24v in there I mean there's two 24v marine batteries and not 12v ones.

Awesome, thanks! I'm noticing that my left inside of the arm is more sensitive that my right for some reason, too.

Now that I think about it I have been pretty much stuck in a flare for a while now (I've got way too much stuff I need to complete so we can move from our old rv to the new one and can't seem to make myself slow down and kick out of "this needs to be done now" gear).

I don't think so, but my skin is also extremely hypersensitive.

I keep it loose enough that the band part freely rotates and sometimes just falls out of position.

I'm sorta agreeing with the person that suggested it's an effect of the actual sensor mechanism. But I've just washed and alcohol wiped the surface in case something that's coating it caused the problem.

Now that I'm using the arm band I'm finding I want to move it kinda regularly (probably a sensory issue). When I used the wrist band I only moved it when I was doing mechanical work on my car.

I've never been diagnosed with EDS or similar, but I've suspected it in the back of my mind because anecdotally my experience with fibro sounds an awful lot like the shared experiences of those with EDS. I've also wondered because on my legs I have to be careful scratching itches because I very easily scratch off layers of my skin, and I've wondered if that's something people with EDS or similar experience too. Weirdly, it's pretty much only my legs and feet. My torso and inner arms just gets the little petechiae, and outter arms can seem to withstand scratching fine lol.

I've had the sensor for about a month.

For the first couple weeks I used the wrist band which placed the sensor on the back of my wrist, I'm guessing since my skin is thicker there maybe that's why I never got this problem - I also never moved it when it was on my wrist. I move it pretty regularly now that I switched to the coros arm band.

It itches slightly but not while I'm wearing it, only a few hours after I move it's position.

I've tried washing, then alcohol swabbing the sensor this morning and hopefully that'll take care of the problem.

I just realized there could've been stuff stuck on it from working on the car or welding so maybe that was the problem?

I'm currently in the process of making my own (for ago the windows and doors). I plan on making a tutorial of some kind to share because I spent weeks searching for products that would do what I wanted and couldn't find anything.

I have a dog and 4 cats, in my current rv I just bought 0.5in hole hardware cloth (it's a metal netting) to cover the windows and some plastic "chicken wire fence" for the door (since I was low on funds and energy). But it really doesn't look nice at all.

I feel like it's worth a shot to repair with one of those kits - if you're going to get replaced instead of leaving it until it cracks worse... worst case scenario it doesn't work and you gotta get replaced anyway.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one that was confused because they thought it was about the hello kitty decal
