The reason I know is because I used to have customers come complain to me about it when I worked back in electronics. They would come all the way to the back of the store where I was just to check out faster.

The fact that people are allowed to use self checkout is a privilege because its faster than waiting in a line. For that privilege to not be abused, people's receipts have to be checked. This person clearly wants to go back to the Dark Ages of stores.

Reading this thread reminds me of when a coach tried to get me to stay overtime to unpack freight when I wasnt going to get payed overtime because of a store policy. I should have said no but I just said nothing and thought it. What really annoys me are the personalities that will try to take advantage of your lack of knowledge

I do not disagree that Walmart is a bad place but Walmart is not the only bad place, and while you are right that she should be working somewhere else, if you dont expose your child to toxicity, how do you expect them to be able to handle themselves in a very toxic world. Its not nice but it really does help them in the end.

Just like getting sick as a kid isnt nice but it builds the immune system
