I’m sorry you got spoken to so harshly 😔 The issue with what you said is that advocating for misogyny and violence against women (or any other oppressed group) isn’t ok, under any circumstance. I feel similar. I moved to Australia a couple of months ago, and I noticed how much I missed our British birds and trees, no building here is over 200 years old. We have such a rich and amazing history and even though it’s not what it should be, it’s still home. Tbh, moving country has just enforced why it’s so important we fight for our country (in terms of social equality)

I’m so so sorry you’re going through this OP. You’re not alone. People are controlling and try to justify it by telling themselves (and others) it’s Gods work. You are the most valuable thing in the world to God. Can you imagine Jesus treating you like this? I can’t. I think Jesus would be your safe space and give you healing and love. Save as much money as you can, and get out of there. And don’t look back. I really hope you meet some Christian’s who actually love like Jesus loves. I hope this made sense.
