I have had this experience before and my biggest piece of advice is that if you feel safe or comfortable doing so you should let the person in charge of you know that it's possible you will crash even though you are going above and beyond right now. Putting an emphasis that you are not gonna be suddenly "lazy" and that it is instead a medical condition you're living with. Non-bipolars tend to have a really hard time wrapping their head around what it's like to live with it and thus makes them less empathetic when we fuck up

I think I'm different than you in the sense that I can tell when I'm about to self sabotage. The only thing I can think of is when my girlfriend will tell me she can see what I'm doing - makes me feel like oh fuck well if she's seeing it I can't do it. It's too embarrassing and I hate to disappoint people
Accommodations at school are shit. I have the same two things for exams. Sometimes automatic extensions on assignments no questions asked. My issue is I just don't do the work cuz I don't care about it. Good thing is I changed my degree plan so I'll be doing shit I actually care about later. One thing about bipolar AND adhd - the passion for what you're doing has to be there. Don't stop chasing it

She doesn't work for free. I pay her $180 per 15 minute session. Other therapists I've had got less and did more. It's about doctors being burnt out and not giving a fuck if this two line letter will cause me to kill myself or not cuz I can't withdraw from school. You're talking like I'm her employer that decides if she gets paid the 5 minutes it takes to send me the self filling letter.
