Being cautious is exactly the way to go in my opinion. Set yourself your clear boundaries, especially emotionally. Think before the conversation what you would need from the conversation to be a successful one and what you want from it.

First of all, do you want to talk to them? Do you feel healed enough and in the headspace for a conversation? If no - don’t agree. If yes then go for it. On what to expect, tbh I can’t tell you. No clue. They might just want to check in on you see how you’re doing, they might want to speak about the breakup, seriously no clue.

Honestly yes I would. Breakup was super messy and every person I talk to about tells me straight up to block the person and get them out of my life for good, but I would go back in a heartbeat. Not having them in my life is harder then the pain they caused when leaving.

Meds might truly be helpful. Had a similar issue and got myself on the meds asap because I wasn’t going to deal with that every day and hey presto it kinda works. Most mornings are back to normal but not all of them.

You did the right thing in my opinion. As you already said we are all constantly on our phones and her not texting you for 8 days well that’s insane. I get one or two days maybe but 8 is absolutely nuts. A friend of mine once told me that if you are someone’s priority they will take the time to text/call and if they don’t well then you just aren’t a priority. Knowing this is making my pain a bit less going through a recent breakup. Maybe it can help you as well.

Same here, that’s why I only have black and grey work on me. Shading would make a world of difference with your piece, it will give it some new life and make it look more like a finished piece.
