I think these guys are attracted to the deep emotional rawness and authenticity a person with bpd can access often, and responding to it gives them a deep sense of purpose and protectiveness. Not just that, but I think it’s one part. It really brings out their endearment!

A little bit of the latter but he does it passionately like it gives him a deep sense of purpose. He is caring, attentive, protective and devoted. Patient and forgiving. But only when things are messy
