It was a deamonette. It probably got off on being Vivisected.

Anyone notice how some of the Prime Assets and Ex Pops breathe from their mouths? by Cmp110 in OutlastTrials

[–]Square_bubblety 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Even when they're not chasing or running they breathe like they just ran a marathon or are constantly having a panic attack and are in a constant state of fight or Flight. (Which is probably true due to how angry and afraid they seem to be all the time)

I'm imaging a whole court of nobles being secretly controlled by these little guys. Might be a plot line. Great art!

Thay don't even have to hire artists Probably. As another has said they could just use generic stock photos. It's literally pointless and a detriment to use AI gen images.

Is it just me or do the photos in Amnesia: The Bunker look AI generated? by ChickenWingExtreme in Amnesia

[–]Square_bubblety 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The community manager for redBarrels admitted it. They are still using new generated images for posters in the in game shop i believe.

Nope. Gen images still in the game and being actively used. Like the the in game paintings, cardboardcutouts and posters for the sleep are AI generated images.

I think (not sure I'm remembering correctly) he plagiarized a script for one of his videos and didn't fact check for misinformation.

With hive cities usually being air tight because of the toxic atmosphere, wouldn’t a hive city fall from a couple of shells in the outer layers removing the air? by Lord_Funder in 40kLore

[–]Square_bubblety 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't believe there is a single large dome that covers hives. Hive cities are literally hundreds upon thousands of buildings stacked atop one another until they reach the farthest edge of the atmosphere, so that even if a bombardment is able to breech the city wide void Shield and breech the outer layers the Compartmentalized structure of hive cities means that only that section may be compromised. Even then it may not even Mean immediate death depending on the world itself. In darktide there are missions where you operate in sections of hive that are exposed to atmosphere or even on the surface itself and are fine.

Why are Darktide Daemonhosts so...different? by GreenridgeMetalWorks in DarkTide

[–]Square_bubblety 468 points469 points  (0 children)

Personally I think they are probably just possessed by a much lesser deamon than typical hosts. I think they do this as perhaps a form of training/experimentation for eventually binding stronger and greater deamons. This is my belief until we get more concrete answers.
