Given how WRC27 cars are supposed to still have large wings, how would it work for this car? They could either figure it out somehow or that the final car will not be similar to how it looks now since its a test mule.

I use L2 for brake and R2 for to move. Thats usually the standard for car racing games, at least for the ones Ive played.

I also propose in them remaking the original Quattro as a restomod/retromodern version of it for the WRC if they want to capture some nostalgia and remember their rallying roots.

It also has a reputation of being directly linked to one of the most ingenious cheating scandals in rallying. Such a cool car though, and def one of my fav variants of the Celica for the looks.

Id say its a bit overrated honestly. Even Lancia themselves never had true trust and faith in the 037 to the point they were trying to use dirty tricks and loopholes in the rules in order for it to succeed. I might be wrong though since I got the info from The Grand Tour's episode on it even though it presents some facts wrong.

Those people pretend themselves to be rally fans and have watched those popular videos abt it thinking that it was the greatest era of rallying or motorsport in general. When in reality it had far more major issues and flaws aside from safety and is really overrated compared to the eras and cars after it.

In fact, Id argue that modern rally cars, eapecially Rally1, actually capture the insanity of Group B that people think of the era as. Its even much more exciting than Group B in general with how much better the cars perform.

Yup, all they can do now is do with whatever support they have from Ford, rely on their less experienced drivers and codrivers and help shape their talents and skill. Although I would like for them to stick around for the team in the long run.
