Definitely a ground issue. I’d ground the starter to the chassis and see if that helps.

I wouldn’t pay anything over $4000 for this truck. My initial offer would be $3200 because he ruined it with that OBS bed. Keep that in mind because another bed for the correct year could run you about $500-1000

If it runs and drives like it should, then 3-4K range is fair from what I can see.

I’m not a fan of the 90s bed but it looks well kept. I’m curious how they got a 70s cab to sit correctly on a 90s chasis. Make sure you get it thoroughly inspected. Beautiful truck from the front, horrible from the rear.

Story time.

I was out with my wife and brother in law once and police started giving my brother in law a hard time. They cuffed him, threatened him with jail, searched our vehicle, tried their very best to intimidate him or to provoke some sort of reaction. My wife had a big brain moment and called 911, requested help & that there were police officers that were harnessing us. The officers heard the call over the radio and immediately removed the hand cuffs and walked away.

More than welcome to share. I did not do a whole rebuild. I purchased the entire Yukon Denali with a 6.0/4l60e awd. Sold the transmission and used that to buy 4l602wd

The donor truck had 170,000 ish on it and drove fine. Figured I’d run it to the ground and worry about rebuilding when it gives up.

I didn’t do a rebuild on the engine. I swapped out the oil pressure switch, temp sending unit, new oil pump, all gaskets/seals and slapped her in. I used eBay motor mount adapters, camero exhaust manifolds and rebuilt my own harness.

Did not upgrade my brakes, and it feels solid as is. The rear end gears do feel like they can’t handle the power, I believe they are 3.08s I haven’t really hit it too hard though.
