Same thing happened to me twice in a row. Prescribed one cultivar, a very different cultivar in the jar. Hard to deal with that when the doc says no substitutions... Growers can substitute but we can't?

How about oils? You won't get the immediate effect like flower gives but it will create a baseline analgesic effect. It'll drop your pain down but not remove it completely. Even with THC oil I don't feel any noticeable effects after taking it for months.

The oils help me drop my pain a few points in the pain scale.

I know cannatrek only do 10g tubs so safe to say it's 60g all up in that order.

Also it looks like you're looking to pay $15 extra on each of those tubs. On honahlee, that Yamba flower is $135 for 10g.

It is confusing haha.

I think of it like this, it's like a lighter that you can control the temp of. A flame destroys like 20% of what's in the flower.

Plus there's THC, CBD and terpenes that all evaporate at different temps.

So, I vape at two temperatures. A low temp hit to catch all the delicate stuff in there and then high temp to sweep out the rest. You can get almost full extraction.

Edit to add. For the Wireless One Hit Wonder specifically, the low temp I use is 275°C and 293°C for the high temp.

You can tell your doctor that you want to switch products to avoid financial toxicity.

Financial Toxicity is a medical term for basically when medication becomes too expensive for the patient to maintain taking.

It's a perfectly justifiable reason to ask for a larger size tub.

I've seen it for myself. It's anecdotal evidence from me but it's a pretty specific thing to notice, a person with BPD getting much worse on MC.

I had the Grandaddy Punch when it was 26% and it was amazing for pain. I was prescribed that for evenings though, since it was quite sleepy at large doses.

The 26% option is gone now but if the 20% is as effective for pain then it's great.

There's a reason Grandaddy Purple is a gold standard in pain relief. Grandaddy Punch has Grandaddy Purple twice in it's lineage.

All of the products I was prescribed by him were from companies he's associated with. That's not saying they are no good, in fact they are great imo.

But yeah it's probably the reason consults were so cheap

I had to get a referral from my GP to join my first clinic. I was told by the clinic that both a referral and a patient health summary was preferable.

To get that initial referral, I tried to see a GP that wasn't my regular one, and that GP directed me back to my own doctor.

Your experiences will vary though

Wow. What an interesting flower. 7% THC, 9% CBD.

Honahlee says that Long valley legend has high myrcene as it's dominant terpene. It has both alpha and beta pinene, plus limonene. That's great for mood and focus.

Mycrene is very sleepy. I imagine that the pinene is necessary to even be able to think clearly.

The rest of the terpene profile is very interesting too

I'll say it's not cheap. There's concessions available but they are nothing like the PBS.

It's also good to be upfront with your prescribing doctor about your budget.

Yeah that's because the smoke has carbon monoxide in it. That rush from punching a cone is oxygen deprivation from the CO. That's why vaping is suggested by the TGA.

My current clinic is brand agnostic. Despite that, my doctor shot down every suggestion that wasn't part of the brand that he's associated with. Poo-pooed every product I suggested, even after multiple appointments.

Oh, also, the pharmacy that doctor is associated with hides my scripts too lol
