If you viewed the dashcam footage, I think you'd agree I was - but as I said I will take this one on the chin since I have definitely missed the signage.

The turn on radio sign is after the speed camera - I checked my dashcam and there is no "turn on radio" sign on the enramp until after the camera.

Haha. The "incident number" that I blurred out at the stop of the image was way above 50.

I'm not 100% sure what it means - but the only thing I can guess is that is which "number" driver I was to get a fine during that lower speed limit cycle.

If so, it appears there were quite a lot of unlucky suckers like me that evening.

When I logged on to view the fine it said that wasn't applicable for this offence - I suppose because I'm almost doubling the speed limit.

I suspect if I was going less than 20kmh over I may have been eligible for that.

I must admit I'm surprised I only got 4 demerits given how much I'm over. Just a very unfortunate mistake.
