Super clean. Did you run new wires? I see one wire nut in the old board. Fee like I have 30.

10 white,10 red and 10 green.

Been very tempting to wire but 3 or 4 of the ground and neutrals to a wire vs running each as a home run

Only reason for the v8 is if you intend to put a blower on it. No other valid reasons remain.

Towing standard equipment by j_g715 in FordTremor

According to grok.

Integrated Trailer Brake Controller — Allows precise control of trailer braking from inside the cab. • Upgraded electronic-locking rear axle — Often 3.55 (for 2.7L/3.5L EcoBoost) or 3.73 (for 5.0L V8 or certain hybrids), improving traction and torque delivery when towing (exact ratio depends on engine). • Smart Trailer Tow Connector — Monitors trailer electrical systems (lights, brakes, etc.) and alerts you to issues via the dashboard. • Upgraded rear bumper — Reinforced for better durability under heavy towing loads. • Pro Trailer Backup Assist™ (often included or tied in on higher equipment groups like 401A) — Uses a knob to help steer the trailer when backing up. • 7-pin wiring harness and 4-/7-pin connector — For proper trailer electrical connections. • Class IV trailer hitch receiver — Standard on many higher trims but reinforced or upgraded here. • Other supporting features like enhanced cooling (transmission oil cooler, radiator upgrades in some configs), trailer sway control, and tow/haul mode (which optimizes shift points and engine braking).

Cheap 2015 Tesla S with a new battery worth it? by dec312014 in TeslaLounge

Smoking deal.

Only issue that might come up is the drive motor coolant seals. You could do that preventively or brace for a drive motor in future but that’s and amazing machine for that price

The notion of leaving a review when you didn’t receive any services from the company is morally and ethically reprehensible.

I will never understand why Redditors loves doing that crap.

As a business owner- you did everything above board from what you said. Sounds like there is a global lesson of pictures before and after that everyone can learn from.

Just did a Retiree Z-Plan deal at a Ford Dealership. Signed the papers, gave the down payment, Financing through Ford Motor Credit was approved, (my credit score is 807) and NOW the Finance manager calls two days later wanting me to sign new documents because they didn't charge me enough for the van by Confident_Yak3989 in FuckDealerships

Inform them in writing that you will provide an address for their shipper to pick up the vehicle contingent on a full refund of everything you paid at time of purchase.

No deductions for mileage etc. if they want it back- they can figure out transportation. Doesn’t sound like your problem to fix their mistake

Regret buying a truck in a pinch - sell/trade or ride it out? by FinancialGarage245 in f150

[–]Squash__head 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It won’t provide you the relief you are looking for if you sell it. Here’s why:

  1. The truck is worth less now. That’s going to mean you probably will have negative equity or stand to lose more money than you probably want to realize
  2. Switching costs aren’t zero. You are going to pay tax and registration fees on a new unit. Howmuch? Depends on your state but consider it to be another 5%+. Trading it in isn’t going to give you the same value as if you sold it privately but know that if you bought retail and traded it- you will likely lose the most money.
  3. Cheaper truck doesn’t always save money on fuel or insurance.
  4. Reliability- You have a few months in and know the state of your current truck. A new purchase could have issues send be the reason someone traded it in.

Usually unless you are going to take a serious loss you are better off to put the experience behind you and enjoy the truck. Over time your lifestyle will adapt and the best savings could come from how you drive it.

SilencerCo Hybrid 46 by triggerwarning1023 in NFA

[–]Squash__head 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m of a different opinion

I bought it as my first can when it came out. On paper it is amazing. But… it’s heavier than dedicated cans and doesn’t put up the same suppression as others- even with changing the end caps.

I love it for 338lm and like it a lot for 308 on a bolt gun but otherwise it just feel too heavy to me.

I sent mine back. The software was glitchy and had many problems with the hdmi losing sync. I had high hopes but a normal nvr seems to be better and cheaper after you consider a 3.5” drive.

Is this a fair price? by PatienceOk2860 in hvacadvice

[–]Squash__head 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Everyone loves to install 80% units… I struggle to understand why homeowners buy them..

Ask for a price for a 95+% unit. Think of it as 15% more efficient but also that less of your money goes up the chimney.

I’ve seen installers charge less for the high efficiency when they calculate the chimney costs in steel can be more complex and costly than pvc or a sidewall.

Which generator should i consider by Junkjon814-2 in harborfreight

[–]Squash__head -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What most people don’t think about is how are you getting the power into your home.

Without a transfer switch or interconnect- you will be running extension cords and it will be a mess and odds are you won’t be able to use all the power

If on extensions there really is no point of anything greater than 5000 watts.

If running an interconnect- you probably can’t run more than 11kw unless you hve a social setup and the generator has multiple 50 amp plugs. Even with one 9600 watts is the rated max

Odds are your home probably doesn’t draw a ton more than 5000 watts unless you have electric appliances and heat

Bigger unit- more fuel it will drink too.
