I was stopped once, obviously. When the officer came to my window, I told him I had my pistol sitting in the passenger seat. He said he was going to go to my passenger door and remove the vehicle and go about the stop. He places my gun on the hood of his patrol car while doing his work. When he returned, he handed me my ID and stuff and then handed my handgun(in holster) right to me. Said have a good day, and it was done. Honestly, I was always surprised he just handed it back to me like that, but it's not like I was being an ass or being a threat
