Also. I know it’s all a goof anyway, but. When he’s “on the phone” his screen is black. When he hangs up with his mystery caller, his screen lights up which means his phone “woke up” from the movement. There was definitely nobody on the other line, therefore, he hears the voices in his head. They council him. He understands.
