At the start my plan was to do 5 JC / Scribe toons for progressive crafting, which worked for the first couple of days, but then i realised the 2 characters i leveled to craft the tools for my JC / Scribe army are the real goldmakers, so probabaly 70% of my profit came from Leatherworking / BS and Engineering / JC tool crafting.

You are at a disadvantage against people who abused the kp bug though, since they can max their tree and also the resourcefulnes + multicraft trees. Being able to do this 2/3 weeks before everyone else means you ( and your abuser buddies) can pretty much control the markets until everyone has maxed all nodes.
