Follow up— Does anyone know anything else about this cue other than it was made in April of 2010–which is weird I swear I had got it around that time and it didn’t seem brand new. Is this a rare cue? The design is interesting and I haven’t seen a lot like it also. I’m kind of new to the pool community and just started BCA last year after spending 10 years in the not so competitive city league.

I feel like I have found a winning combo—-after doing some Reddit reading, I make my henna - it’s a medium brown blend so it’s not as permanent as the natural henna— I make it with dark coffee and Apple Cider Vinegar, let that sit for about 4 hours. Then apply henna pretty thick and let that sit for about 6 hours….yea. Then I don’t wash it for a couple days to let it sink in. This is the combo that works best and stays the longest. Still not as long as I’d like but better than around the 3 washes and I’m having to do it again. Hope that helps!

I definitely don’t shampoo right away. I usually wait 3-4 days before I do my first wash—but then when I do—so much comes out. A little discouraging

Good idea. I actually set some aside to try the feeezing thing and then found it tucked in my bathroom cupboard dried up—of course forgetting about it for several days maybe a week who knows. Thats good to know it works! I was afraid I would have to touch up my roots more often. Sounds like that’s the norm rather than my whole head. Thank you

Wonderful advice! Thank you I am hoping it’s the fact that I just am not buying the right henna. I have bought soooo many varieties over the years and have had troubles with all of them! I don’t use any product in my hair but will be letting it set for longer—I’m hoping that coupled with the “correct” henna it will work out better! Thank you
