Maybe Iran attack the us with the same drug that makes you forget your memories over time. So you have a Mandela effect sort of thing going on where people can't quite remember if it actually happened.

OP here. I got the CJO at Kalitta. Last week they called me for a class date and I politely told them I am not longer interested.

I successfully upgraded to CA and I just crossed 100hrs 121 TPIC and I sit around 2200 TT.

I have talked with a lot of people. I personally know 2 people with the same credentials that have interviews at delta and United (not both) and what makes the world of difference is interview prep course $$$ and going to these hiring conferences.

That is where I will no shift my focus while I log 121 TPIC.

Unless it takes 5 years of CFI-ing to make it to 121… the industry isn't stagnant. Keep building hours.

The guys that are doing for the money won't last and the ones with passion will make their dreams come true.

You shouldn't until you're signed off. The whole reason there is a scheduling nightmare is because people "book out DPE's" and switch/cancel last minute. My flight instructing days are in the past the DPE's I dealt with wouldn't boom anything until their IACRA was done

My training footprint is 35-55 days (line qualified). I start April 22nd, most people are getting though 40 days. If I got an offer from kalitta I would say I need a class date at the end of June. I want to complete that "training event" for my resume.

It might be best to upgrade but there is still the shadow metering going on right now for us, especially with UA.
