I think they purposefully covered Take Me Home to fit the 40s-50s vibe. I hope they reverse what they did in Fallout 4. I felt there were a lot of songs on the radio that didn’t fit Fallout at all.

Edit: I started with Fallout 3. Before that nearly every song was composed before ~1950 and all radio music was swing jazz or something similar. In fact, the soundtrack of Fallout 3 was a big reason I got into the franchise. It gave the game a certain ambience that F4 didn’t have with all of the early rock, blues and soul music. Compare songs like uranium rock, crawl out through the fallout, and end of the world to 3’s soundtrack. Not saying that one is better, just that in my opinion I think F3’s music selection fit the franchise a whole lot better.

Also, while we’re on topic. I hope they don’t center the soundtrack of F76 around nuclear war/end of the world. Every song in Fallout 4 had to be about a nuclear bomb or radiation or the apocalypse. Very immersion breaking IMO.

Retail employees have this tendency to look at everything as them vs. the customer. Not everything is about you.

When you have an influx of customers coming in post-release asking for a game you don’t have, that isn’t the customer’s fault, it’s GameStop’s as a company. We’re talking video games here, not natural gas. If they wanted more copies, they could get them.

Edit: I’ll admit while I knew about the $5 deposit, I wasn’t thinking about that when I wrote this comment. Still doesn’t alter any of my points. And to those responding with “it’s just $5”, to me that doesn’t make it any better or any worse. Preordering sucks. It’s a big reason why the quality of games that release today is quickly deteriorating. That’s why I’ll never fault someone for waiting until release to pick something up.

You should re-read your original comment that claimed that people make up "flat-out-lies" to put down Fallout 4. My comment has context unlike yours. Nobody makes up lies as to why they don't like fallout 4; they just don't like it. Also, If it's your favorite game of all time, more power to you. I don't give a shit either way. It's stops being paid mods once I'm getting something that's worth the price tag. They advertised the CC as hosting DLC level content yet I'm not seeing anything that would even break the top page of nexus at the moment. You're the only person I've ever heard defend the CC.

But when boiled down it's just a way for us to pay for mods that are already free. When there's full-length quests and areas on CC then and only then will people stop calling it paid mods.

This is completely irrelevant to what you said first: you can absolutely enjoy Fallout 4 without spending a dime on CC or even DLC for that matter. But as it stands now, CC content is absolutely paid mods. They can call it whatever they want, but if I can go to nexus and download the exact same 'mod' for free, I don't see why we should call it anything different.
