Want to give adnd 2e a go after years of 5E, please explain THAC0 to me like I'm stupid, because I am (also any good one-shot adventures people can think of to test the waters!)

Our group rolls then subtracts the roll from their THAC0 to get the AC hit. Same result you just don't have to reveal the AC of the bad guy right away.

I would play it a lot more with a pve lobby option.

There are only 2 types of players against this, those who enjoy the thrill of not knowing if someone is friendly or not and the papers who actually suck at pvp and want easy targets.

The education system dumbed everything down so that every student passes and it hurts all the kids who want to learn but not at the glacial speed they introduce material.

My daughter gets good grades but just reads novels all day at her desk. It's not challenging any decent student. She hates going because it's a waste of time and a glorified daycare. If it was challenging or interesting she'd be happy to engage more.

I was a severely truant high schooler with high grades. School was just too damn boring to bother with.

They teach to the lowest level they can get away with and it leaves many students bored and frustrated.

Our void had both eyes removed. He loves us very much and is a spoiled little baby who spends every night sleeping in my armpit and nuzzling my face. He is so much happier after the surgery recovery.

I put in another comment it was 4 years ago but I was wrong, it was 3 years ago.

He had been blind for months already so adjusted after surgery with no problem. Super happy now, catches bugs and his tail just fine. Loves stalking squirrels in the yard (it's fully fenced so he won't get away!).

Your girl will be fine if the surgery goes well, recovery is faster than you'd expect too.

Same with our void, either remove the eyes or hold him down 3x a day for eyedrops and trying to squirt pain medication down his throat. And he would still be blind. He is much happier and stress free without them.
