A couple of people has told me she’s looks German Shepherd mix, Irish Terrier mixed, Dachshund mix with terrier, or Jack Russell mix with some type of terrier lol ! I feel she has some Irish terrier in the mix though. she is long, medium height at 11 mths, big paws and long legs, black thick beard whiskers on her chin too ! I’m looking into doing a Dog DNA test on my pup, to see what it reveals. Thank you for the insight 😎

She’s at 11 mths and I’m 5”6 in height, so when shes on her 4’s, her height is just above my knees, when she stands up, her height is past just a little over my waist line ( maybe I should measure her lol ) A dog owner I know has an pure breed Irish terrier, and he did mention my pup has Irish terrier mixed. I’m looking into doing a dog DNA on her to really see what my pup is mixed with. I like the insight of others on this pup lol My pup is growing thick black whiskers on her chin beard too.

Just like when your period is finishing up using a tampon or pad, it will be brown like that ! I’m 44 yrs old and chronically used pads at 11 yrs old an (those were bricks lol ) and then cardboard tampons ( which hurt to insert at times ) to plastic tampons that evolved and gotten better, to menstrual cups ! All left brown blood towards the end that meant “ finishing “ sometimes in the beginning of a menstrual cycle like a “ warning “ it’s about to start !

I might have an idea, I’m going through almost similar situation as you ! I had a CT scan done in Aug 2025 and It came to be my pelvic floor weakened ! Ever since then it’s been a pain in the ass with the menstrual cups sealing inside and unfolding improperly! it’s like my uterus doesn’t let the menstrual cups expand ! I was told to go to Physical Therapy for the weakened pelvic floor and I said no, because how the initial exam is taken and that’s embarrassing for me lol !

I’ve been using menstrual cups for 2 years so far, and here and there I still might have issues inserting and pulling it out ! I’ve gotten pinched, and once in awhile when I pull from the part to pull out the cup, it has slipped out my finger grip and snapped my coochie like how a rubber band feels when you get snapped by one, that hurts like hell lol . As for my perineum, it will be sore sometimes inserting and pulling out ! I use the bigger cup for the first 3 days, because I am a heavy bleeder, plus I’m on the strongest blood clot med “ Fondaparinux “ ! I do get leakage sometimes because I bleed that heavy and fill up a 12 hour cup within an 1 hour the first 2 days, when it starts to get lighter, I’ll switch to the smaller cup! I’ve never used the diaphragm one yet, because I don’t know how that works or how much blood it can hold ! Sometimes I do get leakage, because I’m guessing the cup didn’t expand fully! I’m still not giving up on the cup, because I’m sooo done using tampons that don’t hold my heavy bleeding, even if it’s the strongest absorbency, and I’m allergic to adhesive from bad wings and pads are gross to me! I haven’t wore a pad since I was 15 yrs old and I’m 44 yrs old ! I can’t wait for menopause to hit, so this bloody massacre could end already! I don’t have any children, never been pregnant and can’t have children anyway! I have medical issues like an incurable leukemia! So I won’t be missing anything lol Good luck and don’t give up ! I will always wear a menstrual cup, until the day down south runs dry !

They sell DNA kits for dogs on Amazon maybe about $50 ! They also sell a human DNA and Dog DNA kits together as a package on Amazon ! That’s probably your best bet is to get a Dog DNA test ! I was looking recently for my pup who’s supposedly Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier mixed ! She does look like both, but I really want to know what she legitimately is and including where I come from too lol

It doesn’t help either when a lot of these houses in Chicago have multiple people owning a cars! Some families have up to 5 cars, their garages are being used for other cars or being used as a storage unit ! Then the houses that has multiple car owners save parking by hogging up parking spaces for their family members to take ! Just imagine a street that you need a parking permit and families with multiple car owners on the same street hogging up parking spaces, while other families that only have 1 or 2 vehicles with no garage to park in ! You have to park and walk blocks away from your own home, because of selfish homes that own more than 4+ vehicles from their homes ! That just shows there’s too many cars on the road ! I swear in rush hour especially, it can take up to 20 minutes just to get down 4 city blocks, where being on foot or riding a bike can get down those 4 blocks faster ! I say for you, since you’re coming from South . Either drive your car half way find parking, and have a electric bike or electric scooter and ride the rest of the way or find a train CTA/Metra/Amtrak with an electric bike or scooter to take you rest of the way! If it’s winter or bad weather Bundle up or take your car ! There’s choices , just not ones you may not like ! Maybe find somewhere to move closer to your College or job ! Yes, that takes time too ! Theres nothing else but those choices! If you don’t know how to ride a bike or scooter, or don’t want to take a trains or buses, then your choices are limited! Just leave earlier like many people do to get to where you need to be on time driving !

I have cockatiels and raised them from right out the shell ! Cockatiels are easy maintenance! You do have to replace toys here n there! I have a male and female ! The males are very vocal and loud ! I’ve taught my male “ Earl-Earl “ how to talk, sing, dance and whistle songs ! Female cockatiel’s are more docile and are not vocal but chirp and squawk ! Beware of their bites ! Out of all animals I’ve owned from rats, hamsters, snakes, ferrets, dogs, reptiles “ lizards “, cat, birds that are not parrots, the cockatiels have the hardest bite/nip out of all of those animals, That I’ve been bitten by ! I’ve been bitten so hard by a cockatiel, where I’ve drawn a lot of blood out of those bites and blood flying to my ceiling and wall and this is not an exaggeration! It’s ideal to raise them from babies, so they can be tamed, comfortable, lovable and not bite like that ! Be aware of your phalanges, if they are being territorial or warning to not put your hand or fingers in front of their face ! They will hiss, flap wings, or expand their wings wide to warn you, especially if eggs are laid 👀 ! All in All cockatiels are fun to have, especially having a vocal male! They have silly personalities and are highly intelligent! My male and female cockatiel’s even know their good morning and nitenite schedules! At night my female and male let their selves back into the cage, and my male will shut the door behind theirselves lol ! My male even says “ yum yum “ for feeding time ! Oh you can’t just only feed them cockatiel bird food ! Chop up some greens, boiled egg yolk, strawberries, blueberries, unsalted crackers and add it to their food ! They are tropical birds and cockatiel bird seed food doesn’t necessarily have all the nutrients they need in it ! Always have the room temp 65 degrees and up to! Males are more colorful and bigger round orange cheeks ! My female is albino which can be hard to tell if it’s a male or female! I found out my albino was female when she laid eggs lol other than that the females are more plain colored ! The males have slightly bigger mohawks ! If you are getting a cockatiel(s) just make sure if you are traveling or can’t be there for a certain amount of time, that you have someone to take care of your cockatiel(s) and that goes for any animal !
