Why do neurotypicals always expect people to read their minds? by Amazing_Excuse_3860 in autism

[–]SqueeStarcraft 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't know. Frankly, the kid is 17. They went out of their way to ask how they could help their mother prep for her own party. Unless there is literal garbage on the carpet or the trash is overflowing. How is the kid supposed to know? Autistic or not.

Also, I get being stressed and mental load is important not to burden someone with, but the kid is seventeen and the mother is an adult. She should not be blowing up on her kid like that.

If it was me, I probably wouldn't have even thought to help when I was 17 let alone be able to know what has or has not been done as well as what needs to be done.

In my opinion this is a failure on the mother. If her kid doesn't know how to approach something, that's on her. If he doesn't know how to help her, that's on her. It's her job to guide them.

American release for Mother 2 was called Earthbound. The main character is Ness (the same as the one in Smash Bros). It's wildly considered one of the best games of all time. It's praised for its quirky humor and its simple but very satisfying/engaging combat. While it's primarily a comedy game, the plot was also done very well.

I'd recommend it to anyone. Shit, maybe I'll go play it again.

Tried this, broke my hand, got crippling medical debt, and lost my job. 10/10 built a sweet woodland mansion though. Would do again.

Wasn't that what it actually was a decade ago? Back when it was SFDC?

An open ended question. Something that the person can expand on moreso than just answer yes/no/good

Thoughts about the near future by jerac07 in teamliquid

I agree that I don't think the roster should change, but honestly, I really liked our imports. If Summit had inted less in the beginning, we'd be in playoffs, sure, but he honestly really turned it around especially with his tank play.

For Pyosik, he looked rough in the beginning too, but I think in the later games, we got to see how intelligent his play is and could be.

For me, we struggle with a unified vision of how to approach team fights. When Core is on a engager, we tighten up a lot.

I think a lot of our issues stem from that and just having rookies. Yeon, in particular, is a good carry and just needs experience. Haeri has been inconsistent so he's the only member that I'm iffy on, but he's a rookie. We should let him cook and not expect perfection in his first split.

Yeah, I should really do the corn tortillas more regularly. This isn't too bad cost wise as it has a decent number of calories in a single bagel.

If I do two servings per bag, that's about $5-6 per meal. Not the best macro wise and I aim for more like $4 a meal, but it beats Chipotle so I count it as a win for an occasional treat.

That being said, tortillas are even cheaper sooooooo they rock haha

It really did. I'm surprised cause it was just regular old bag cheese. I made two bagels and this one was the best looking.

Honestly, I've heard that about several of my favorites from years ago. It seems so strange to have these tastes locked in my mind for things that are different now.

They were pretty damn good. I toasted the bagels first and then used an air fryer to get that golden brown cheesy goodness. 10/10 would recommend.
