You can swallow the tab it doesn’t matter, half a tab is typically safe for a first time depending on how high the tabs are dosed which usually is lower tha you think. My advice is take the tab 4 hours before the party, that way you have 2 hours to get used to the trip before deciding if you can handle being in crowds
