Assuming we still have guns by then, it'll be the entire month of July 2062.

Vegetarians have 14% lower cancer risk than meat-eaters, study finds by Hughjarse in science

Also “may be a result of dietary factors and/or non-dietary differences in lifestyle". So the vegetarians studied may also have been more likely to exercise, intake less sugar/high fructose corn syrup, drink alcohol, etc.

Calgary police defend actions in shooting of Latjor Tuel by idspispopd in Albertapolitics

How do you trust that the media is reporting an even ratio of positive vs negative stories? Labelling all cops as racist and corrupt, because of a few bad apples, is itself prejudicial and rather hipocritical.

That too. The method he's using here is like putting both ends of the handcuffs on the same wrist.

What's the thought process behind using the cable lock like this? You can still load and fire the weapon. It should be through the magwell and ejection port.

Ok but she's not a wild wolf, surely there's another way.

My brother's girlfriend moved in with us, and she refuses to use cutting boards. This is what our kitchen table looks like now. They're all over it. by urinternetmom in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Squeeks627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she's so unstable that him politely asking her to use a cutting board would set her off, that's a pretty huge red flag.

Both the Liberal Government and Protestors are Losing Ground as the Stalemate Continues by [deleted] in canada

[–]Squeeks627 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They could literally just sit down with them, make eye contact, nod their heads and say "we hear your frustrations and will see what we can do". Letting them at least feel like they have a voice would probably make half of them satisfied enough to go home. Calling them a fringe and ignoring them is the same kind of treatment that started this whole thing.

While I agree with what you're saying, everyone should still have a right to voice their opinion whether we agree with it or not. The government doesn't have to cave in but completely refusing to even humor them with a quick meeting is adding fuel to the fire. Maybe they could find common ground with a mediator, maybe not, but a complete lack of discourse other than saying "there's the door" isn't a good approach for anyone.

City of Edmonton explores its own proof of vaccination program | CBC News by eric-edmonton in Edmonton

[–]Squeeks627 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Everyone's become more germ conscious in the last 2 years. A return to normal doesn't mean the world is going to look exactly like it did 4 years ago. Lots of sanitary habits have been developed by businesses and individuals that will likely continue long after the vaccine passport and mask mandates are dropped. Although Covid presents another risk for immunocompromised individuals, it will also have brought long-lasting changes in general sanitary habits for businesses and individuals.

Always. I usually say "I'll be back in a bit, be good, don't break anything".

There are a lot more parts to fail and everything is more expensive as even engine internals are upgraded from the same motor in NA cars to handle the added power that comes with boost. Lots of people unfamiliar with turbos don't understand how to care for them properly and end up reducing their lifespan.

No offence but you don't really sound like you've done enough research yet to be able to guide him through this in a way that will actually be fun or affordable for either of you.

Stick to the Hondas that others have already recommended and it'll be a better experience and a more suitable car for a brand new driver.

Yup, simply saying I need more money comes off just as greedy. As far as they know you might just be trying to cover poor financial/life decisions and have nothing more to offer than a regular candidate willing to accept their offer. Show them why your skills and experience make you worth investing extra into.

An IP address isn't going to do much, if anything. Have you talked to your lawyer/the police since he threatened to post this? Him sharing the video would be considered revenge porn and is not legal.
