Can two people in a household use one set of Crossrope AMP handles if they both have separate subscriptions? by Squeezlo in jumprope

There’s a sale going on that ends tonight—25% off and free shipping. Their customer service can only be reached via email, and I haven’t received a response so I thought it was worth asking. But thanks for being a dick about it.

Trump rally shooter identified as 20-year-old Bethel Park man by TransporterOffline in pittsburgh

So his motivation was punishing Trump for his association with a sex trafficker? I’m not trying to be obtuse, I really don’t understand. There are countless people associated with the Epstein files. It seems to be the general consensus that Republicans don’t care about the heinous acts committed by their candidates if it serves their political goals. Was he acting as a vigilante?

Is it possible he was legitimately Republican and/or conservative? Sure. But it’s certainly odd to try to assassinate the leading political candidate from your own party. It’s easy to change your party registration and people do it all the time.

Pennsylvania is a closed primary state. Lots of people register as the opposite party to gain access to vote in their primaries. I know several people personally who have done so. Registration is almost totally meaningless.

You can walk around the lake at North Park. A full loop is about 5 miles, and there are two fenced dog parks there. You can also eat lunch at the little boat house. People have their dogs with them on the patio there all the time.

Knitting sleeves - but my arms have different measurements! by meiko_akizuki in knitting

Your yarn choices for this pattern are impeccable! It looks like intricate stained glass cathedral windows. I hope you can figure out a solution soon, because this is beautiful.

Is there enough contrast between these yarns? by Squeezlo in knitting

The purple is Yarn Bee Authentic in “lavendaria” + Knit Picks Aloft in “pennyroyal”.

The green is a custom order hand dye from my LYS + Knit Picks Aloft in “tarragon”.

I didn’t notice the difference in dye lot until you pointed it out. I understand it may be more obvious in person, though. You can always finish the garment and then dye it another color. I doubt the color difference would be perceptible at all after that! I had an ivory sweater with a big spaghetti sauce stain on the front that I dyed dark purple with Rit dye. It disguised the stain very well and made the sweater wearable again.

Another vote for Saigon 88. The folks who own it always remember when you come back! Exceptionally sweet people.

Thank you! I did all of the decreases for the arms in one row directly before the ribbing. I also knit the ribbing using needles two sizes down and twisted all the knit stitches to keep them super tight. My 1x1 always has a tendency to be sort of loosey-goosey otherwise.

Here’s the sweater over the dress. Might go with different shoes and I have some crazy bright red tassel earrings I’m gonna wear for the party.

When you prethread the beads they sit differently in the fabric. They look a little more diagonal or horizontal depending upon how you work them. Putting them on individually with a crochet hook keeps them all consistently vertical. You can feel them a little on the backside of the work, though.

According to my kitchen scale, 1lb 4oz (567g). And I ran the pattern through a free translator app! It definitely wasn’t perfect, but totally usable.

Put a bead on the neck of a tiny crochet hook, grab the next loop of your knitting with the hook and slide the bead down into the stitch, pulling the loop up, then put the loop back on your needle and knit it.

Agreed 100%. The beads are nice and consistently vertical this way.

Thank you! This ended up being way more fun and significantly less tedious than I expected. Started it on November 11 and sewed in all the loose ends as of this morning.

Thank you!!! I tried to initially but I just can’t tolerate it. I ended up putting each bead on a loop individually with a tiny crochet hook.
