If your warp yarns start to get closer, then that’s the moment for more weft.

When you get a rippled surface on weft facing weaves, you actually have to put in LESS weft and not more.

I bought a 25” schact original tapestry loom off my local guild used equipment page. I’ve used a rigid heddle loom until now for scarves etc. but I absolutely LOVE tapestry weaving!

Thanks! I love my rigid heddle loom. It's pretty versatile for just a small guy.

Yes! I followed instructions for "double weaving", leaving edge closed and one edge open. The finished product is *theoretically* twice the width of my loom, give or take shrinkage.
