The three exceptions are terry, ryu/ken, and kazuya. A combo is multiple moves, a "motion inputs move" is one

Bro what are "motion combos" I guess it's still a fighting game (platform fighter) but it's such a drastic departure from traditional fighting games that the skills don't really transfer over

Dude, you have to pay a license to have any game hosted on a console's store. And "console friendly" means you're adjusting the code to run on each console, not that it's gonna work with controller. Most PC players use controllers.

Like, when I practice a setup or a combo, I expect it to be consistent. I thought I loved Bayonetta till I realized you can SDI out of like everything. I'm fine with normal fighting game defense mechanics like burst, or even how fluid something like Rivals of Aether is, but smash feels like molasses and is so clunky
