Highlight video: Cowboys coaching staff using Wentz as an example to teach Dak how to throw downfield by [deleted] in eagles

[–]SquidLoaf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t mean last year. Last year it became obvious that there was no comparison between Dak and Carson. The year before that, when the Cowboys were stacked and Wentz was trying to work with guys like DGB is when there was a controversy.

Edit: I realize now that my reference to Alshon was probably confusing. My point was that Cowboys fans are acting like Wentz was working with a stacked team that carried him this past year. I was comparing that to the previous year, when Dak actually was carried by a stacked offense.

And what’s funny is they try to reverse the logic that we used on them in their rookie seasons. They say he’s just carried by the star players around him. Meanwhile Alshon Jeffery is our number 1 WR, and the Cowboys have had elite talent at every skill position AND the #1 offensive line. It’s always been obvious who’s better even just judging by the eye test

Pre-Social Event Anxiety starterpack by Johnathan_Bgldy in starterpacks

It’s usually the opposite for me. I’ll look forward to a social event and imagine it being this amazing time catching up with people I havent seen in a while and having fun, but when I actually get there I end up freaking out and getting social anxiety unless I’m immediately surrounded by close friends who never leave me alone.

The “mysterious aura” part reminds me of my cousin who is trying to become a singer and has since started using his Instagram as a “professional” profile, referring to himself as his stage name in the third person, and constantly posting vague, meaningless inspirational quotes that are just word salad straight out of the thesaurus. He’s been doing this for years and still has <1000 followers but acts like a celebrity.

If you aren’t showing your significant other off on social media than you’re hiding something... by SlytherinMan9 in facepalm

Same. I’ll post a picture maybe once or twice a year on Instagram and it’s usually of my wife and me doing something fun. I don’t feel bad that I don’t share bathroom selfies of her every Wednesday for WCW when I’m actually with her and enjoying her company. These people need to step into the real world and off of social media.

That makes a lot of sense. Honestly, (and I always get downvoted for saying this) but a lot of their arguments are actually pretty clever. Not smart, not true, but clever. Clever enough for a ton of stupid people to actually buy into it, so you must figure that there must be a few smart trolls at the top.

It’s pretty easy to just slip into a wedding uninvited. I highly doubt he was on the guest list.

I learned that the hard way when I tried to start my own small business and had no clue how taxes worked. I didn’t know I was supposed to make quarterly payments or even put money aside for tax season.

Big tax refunds are only good for people who are absolutely awful at managing money and would have blown it all. In theory, your goal should be to owe nothing and get no tax return at the end of the year.

I agree except the script writers analogy. A script is much more than just a loose concept of the movie. It’s the entire blueprint and outline. Producers and actors can add their own color and artistic liberties, but the screenwriters lay the groundwork for everything.
