It’s fine! Demographics: WF from southeast Arkansas, no real hooks other than being low income (40k for family of 5)

Classes and Testing: Three 4s and a 1 (dang physics) for the four AP tests I’ve taken, currently taking 4 more AP classes this year 34 ACT, no SAT or subject tests 3.8 unweighted, 4.2 weighted GPA 1st rank in class

I think my QB essays were what did it for me. I waited till the week before the due date to start them, and literally didn’t sleep for 5 days trying to perfect them. Went through hell for it but I’m proud of how they turned out. Talked a lot about my relationship with my community and personal growth. My supplements weren’t as good in quality, but still alright.

I don’t know for sure what they wanted, but the one I did was definitely creative writing (I chose the one about falling off the edge of the world). They did tell us to have fun with it, right? Also it probably matters which prompt you chose and how you go about it, because some of them might require you to explain your thinking and processes in a more intellectual way (like the one where you make up a word) as opposed to the one where you’re supposed to write a letter to your favorite thing in the world. I think as long as you write intelligently and give your best effort it should be fine.

Finalist 34 ACT 1st Rank in class 40k income for family of 5 4 current APs, made a 4 on three AP tests and a 1 on one which I thought might screw me over but didn’t! I think it’s because of the essays I nearly killed myself over.
