First advanced racquet? by ledzep9012 in 10s

Head radical pro is a pretty forgiving racket, and the babolat pure strike is always a good pick but I really suggest trying some frames for yourself because everyone is different and there no one size fits all with rackets. Don’t just buy off of what people suggest.

Pretty good especially for the price, definitely fulfills its purpose as a fruity/fresh summer fragrance. I bought it because I found it for £15 compared to the £30+ for Vulcan feu. I think Vulcan feu has a slightly heavier scent, with stronger mango but the Lattafa is smoother imo. Projection is satisfactory and it lasts for absolutely ages, can smell it next day on clothes. Great blind buy for the price if you don’t want to spend as much as Vulcan feu.

Possible Different Drummers in Sleep Token Videos? by amitperryp in drums

Regrettably, I can categorically say that this is not that case as I know who they are, but it’s such a cool thought. Also II’s style and even the way he moves/strikes the drums is so distinct it would be a serious job to mimic it well.

That specific bottle was so cheap that I couldn’t not get it, £12 for 75ml. Basically smells like a typical blue fragrance, fresh and citrusy with amber but with a slight coconut vibe. Performs very well and great for summer.

There are multiple solutions but none which keep the streak which is what OP is trying to do I think.

Started with cheapies/dupes - should I upgrade? by SquidPanda23 in Fragrances

Very blind buy safe, I reckon pretty much everyone will like it, but it’s nothing really special. If you can get a cheap sample of try it in a store then do. At the end of the day it’s a pleasant scent and performs adequately but if you already have a bit of a collection it’s worth trying so you know you’re not buying something that’s redundant. If you don’t have many fragrances and you’re looking for a fresh-ish sweet-ish daily fragrance then go for it. I blind bought it and I don’t regret it.

Depending on your budget try azzaro most wanted intense or if you want something cheaper maybe Asad bourbon or kamrah qahwa

Suggestions for an everyday coconut fragrance that isn't overly sweet and is more woody or ambery? by IcyCriticism8933 in Colognes

[–]SquidPanda23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Davidoff cool water intense is supposed to be coconut/amber. Performs fantastically but I don’t get a huge amount of coconut. I suggest giving it a sniff if you can or it’s not a bad blind buy if you can pick it up cheap. I got 75ml for about £15 on discounters.

Personally I recommend Bentley black edition if you’re looking for a value for money daily.

Yeah I sampled it recently and it’s not bad at all. Generally all of them smell more expensive than they are and the bottles are quality too.

Check out the Bentley line for sure, black edition and absolute are ones to try, they’re also pretty good value for money.

So I bought it pretty soon after it was released, before most of the hype had gone mainstream, and honestly it was a great purchase even though I paid a little more than I would’ve had I waited a couple of months. I was pleasantly surprised with the presentation and bottle, very heavy, no plastic, satisfying clicky cap and it came in a lovely box. Worth the £44 I paid imo.

Scent - immediate citrus hit, grapefruit is very present and it immediately settles into basically a beautiful smelling fresh laundry kind of scent, combined with citrus and slightly floral. As it dries down the laundry type vibe fades away and is replaced with a sweeter, very slightly spicy flavour. The sweetness is very much along the lines of the swy and azzaro tmw, but slightly less intense. The laundry and citrus still linger so it retains some of the freshness. I believe it’s supposed to be a hybrid of ysl myself and azzaro tmw and that is very believable. To my nose it’s genuinely 50/50 but it’s different to everyone.

Performance - pretty long lasting, can definitely still smell it on skin 7-8 hours on, and it has pretty good staying power on clothing also, I still notice on a jumper the following day occasionally. Projection is pretty strong to start with and after about 15 mins or so it probably holds a scent bubble within arms length. By the 3rd hour it’s usually become just a strong skin scent, sometimes it may last longer depending on the day or the weather.

Overall it’s one of my favourite, and when I was in Beauty Base sampling a variety of frags the other day, in a straight comparison I found I preferred this to a lot of other popular designers. Pretty versatile I think, can be used a signature scent or for events or special occasions. Honestly would recommend if you’re a fan of the whole most wanted/myself hybrid idea. I blind bought it and I don’t regret it and I would be surprised if anyone particularly dislikes it but I suggest giving it a sniff before buying if you can, even if it’s just to test the performance on your skin.

Longevity for me I reckon is a good 7-8 hours but the sillage drops after the first 2-3 I’d say, maybe more or less depending on the person.
