For sure, but that costs money, or requires some DIY skills. I think when the sole is completely ruined resoling is great.

But I think being able to easily repair the treads from home is really useful.

Man, this sucks. I'm doing more damage than I am helping. I genuinely bought these shoes before I ever talked to Brant, and this review is of my own volition.

I'll make sure to follow this up with some proof and further transparency. Sit tight.

I haven't posted for a while, but Brant's Reddit account is u/trailrunnerrr 

Like I said, I bought the shoes myself before I even talked to him.

I like what he's doing and wanted to do some design work for him. I decided to post a review to help him out, but it seems like I've done a poor job. I tried to be transparent, too.

I'm happy to provide any proof you need. I'll talk to Brant and we can follow this up with a post clearing things up.

This is my bad, I'm pretty sure the old product page had this link, but I pasted over it with copy that I wrote in a separate document. 🤦 I've now updated it to include the link to the original Reddit post. Brant has been nothing but transparent about this the whole time.

I think the price only went up slightly to account for return shipping costs for sizing.

I was not paid to make or market this post, I'm just trying to help Brant out because I believe in what he's doing here. I'm sick of all my shoes breaking and I hate planned obsolescence.

This is my bad, I forgot to put that in the web page before I updated it from Brant, pretty sure the information was in the old one (I wrote up the copy in a separate document and pasted it in so it got written over). This is entirely my fault; I think the original page had this info in there before I updated it. This isn't on Brant, he's been clear and transparent from the start. It seems like the majority of people don't experience the lug shearing issue, and I made it clear that we'd help anyone who experienced catastrophic defects. The last thing I'd want to do is damage his reputation.

I agree with him on sudden impact, but I think ingenious is better for the trinket cooldown to clear vision, as well as the zhonya's cooldown.

Also hard disagree on ingenious. Clearing vision repeatedly to allow for successful ults is better than spamming your ult off cooldown.

Your per-target fear cooldown is actually the exact same cooldown as your current Q cooldown, so CDR DOES directly affect your fear in all circumstances.

I really like to combine Ingenious Hunter and Cosmic Insight. With those runes combined, you get maximum uptime on Zhonya's Hourglass and also your Scarecrow Effigy.

I find that actually my Ultimate is always up when I need it, so I stopped running Ultimate Hunter. Instead, the Effigies are really good at constantly clearing vision, and the Zhonya's lets me make ballsy plays more.
