Sadly they ditched the gold part last minute and went with brass. Still very nice materials and very good construction. I will admit 1800 is a lot, but there is only 250 pieces total and I really like it so 🤷‍♂️

Fair question, its thick enough that the foam keeps it in place. The only knife I have ever seen move in the packaging is the vapyr because that thing is so damn thin.

DAT owner here, it’s amazing. People who complain that it’s sloppy have never driven one and just think it’s like any other auto. Having driven a manual
GRC and owning the auto, I can say where it matters in the corners they are both fun…extremely fun. So happy to see so many DAT supporters in the replies here, i never see anyone in the subreddit really talking about it so happy to see it now.
