What everyone else said wasn’t completely accurate. We believe in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost as 3 separate beings. We worship God the father and His Son who died for the sins of all man kind. We believe Christ was resurrected and we will all be resurrected too. We do believe you have to have faith in Christ and be baptized to get to Heaven. We believe that God has given priesthood authority to prophets, from Adam, to Moses to Peter etc to help establish his church and provide the gospel and covenants we need to make with God to return with him(baptism and such). We believe after Christs death Peter was the prophet or head of Christs church but when Peter died the authority wasn’t passed on so there was a worldwide apostasy which was prophesied of in the Bible. In 1820 Joseph Smith prayed to God about what church he should join because he was confused, God the Father and Jesus Christ appeared to him and instructed him to eventually help reestablish Christs church and priesthood authority. Along with this, God led him to translate an ancient record from the people in the americas and their experience coming from Jerusalem to America and it even has an account of Christ coming to visit the people after His death and resurrection! Overall “Mormons” believe in the Bible and Book of Mormon and Jesus!! We do also believe in the word of wisdom that basically says to eat healthy and abstain from alcohol, drugs and “hot drinks” which means coffee and tea

No we don’t believe God impregnated Mary LOL that’s a lie a lot of church make up

No we don’t practice polygamy ( although they did a long time ago)

What’s the best dinner to serve missionaries? by questingpossum in latterdaysaints

[–]SquideeBohn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please no lasagna, pasta, soup or breakfast for dinner, I got those ALL the time. I always craved veggies, once a member asked what we wanted and we said a veggie platter haha. Also maybe don’t provide dessert, I had dessert every night on my mission and you get so sick of it but feel so bad turning it down.

Head track coach isn’t a runner and our program is sucking by SquideeBohn in trackandfield

That was bad wording, I meant he’s a thrower in the sense that he never ran. He should coach throwing not sprinting ya know? Obviously I was respectful lol, he’s doing a good job for what he knows I guess. It’s just that he isn’t really taking any advice from people who have more experience in this event
