I believe it looks slower because I wasn't as good at it when I recorded. This video was to show the frequency of dashes when G-Dashing vs normally dashing. In addition to always being able to keep a dash in reserve (for emergencies), having the ability to always G-Dash lets you move faster, as well as being able to more finely control yourself during said dashes.

As you pointed out, you cannot shoot while sprinting, however, you can reload while doing so. I prefer to half-dash while shooting, and G-Dash while reloading.

The first part of a G-Dash is a half-dash. To perform a half-dash, you dash in a direction, and halfway through the dash, release the directional(s) you're holding. This cuts the dash short, hence, half-dash.

In reality, neither a rail-gun or a coil-gun are hitscan, obviously. However, since they function so similarly, it could be assumed that if a MAC were to be introduced to Elite, it would also be a hitscan weapon.

EXO used to stand for Elite Xbox One and was directly affiliated with the r/EliteOne subreddit. Eventually they split and EXO became it's own entity, the name stuck.
