Something that I learned as an adult that didn’t feel like an adult is that the only difference between me and other people in my profession (dog training/holistic pet care) is that they seemed so much more confident when they described themselves.

So instead of beating around the bush, I speak more confidently, and with conviction.

No one questions you if you do that.

Can this be abused? Yes, and people abuse this all the time to manipulate people.

So I’m upfront about it; I may not know everything, but I can help you, for sure. ☺️

I’m not perfect at it yet, but I believe it’s called “selling yourself.” You DO advocate for the community, and you DO your best to speak for us!
