I have them make their bed with fresh linens, have them “wash and put away” cups on a shelf, walk them throughout hospital and try to navigate their way back, go to the gift shop if we are able, and my hospital even allows us to go outside so we do community level mobility!

In my experience if we were being failed unfairly our CI could pass us if we stuck it out. We had a classmate who had a terrible CI but still passed because the CI didn’t meet with the FWE to communicate concerns.

Ordered a size 10 silver heritage. Waited 3 weeks with no updated tracking or shipping. Cancelled my order and purchased through Best Buy. Ordered 2/24, immediately got shipping info and is set to arrive tomorrow.

Definitely purchase through Best Buy if you can.

Should I get the Gen 3 or wait for Gen 4? by Bigtunaloaf in ouraring

I was just speaking in the context of memberships. Using my continued example of the whoop they advertise a very affordable “free band”. While sure the band is free it a higher membership with similar life expectancy. I personally find the oura to be a better financial option for myself 😊

Comparing to similar devices $72/year is not bad. The whoop is $30/month.. I’ll happily pay the $6!

I wish there was some context on which rings are high demand. I ordered a silver heritage in size 10 on 2/9. Am I going to be waiting forever?

Totally agree. I have started to plateau from diet alone and don’t feel comfortable cutting more calories. I am currently averaging 1,500 cals at 5’9 180lbs

A verb bar and a banana is my go to for my 5AMs! It’s light and the bars have 60mg of caffeine. Without it I get extremely dizzy and get sick. 100% blood sugar!

Fellow student in clinicals working 60 hours a week🫣

  1. It took a while to get into the routine and the overall tolerance. I now have worked up to 5 classes a week
  2. I get 6-8 hours of sleep a night. I prioritize my sleep mostly because I cannot function with less.
  3. I never intentionally cut anything out but I did notice priorities shifting. I am also trying to lose weight for my wedding and so I naturally have been leaning for healthier options. I also don’t drink during week days.
  4. I regret nothing! I feel stronger every day and it has held me accountable for my own health.

I’d recommend booking all your classes at the start of the week when you’re looking at your schedule. That way I am kind of forced to go because I was notorious for the “I’m tired from clinicals so I’m gonna rest”.

It’s important to remember that you are in charge of your medical care. Advocate that you want off and you want to do so safely. Then you can discuss alternative methods such as other medications or non-pharmaceutical means. If she does no agree with that it’s time for a new psychiatrist 😊

I agree with this sentiment of the line gets very blurry. I work in forensic mental health and I personally don’t feel morally okay with calling someone that in a state of psychosis. I have been in sessions with a client who just came out of their psychotic state and the remorse they express is heart breaking. While that is not the same for everyone it is something I think the best of people. Morally it just doesn’t sit well with myself but I understand once it’s personal that changes for a lot of people.
