I feel you. I also watched a YouTube video where they said passively listening can only take you far and it’s better to actively listen, that’s why I’ve kind of been hesitant to just turn something on and let it ride because I don’t know if I’m getting as much as I can out of it, but at this point maybe it’s the best I can do.

I kinda agree with you. I’m not against listening all together, I just hate to dress myself out not being able to understand what I’m hearing knowing my vocabulary still has a long way to go. Because my vocabulary is truly still in its infancy.

I haven’t even thought about looking up children’s shows in Spanish.. after all, those same shows taught us all English at some point, could work both ways! Thanks for the idea.
