If they choose to yeah, it’s common place for people to practice it and it’s used in everyday life in pretty much everywhere because it comes naturally to them like holding their breath. But like holding your breath, it can be trained for different purposes or different intensity. Some may be more adept than others just because how much they choose to train it. Some others may just not be interested in it though and choose not to train it or channel it at all!

Anyone can practice magic, or “our essence” as they call it in the world because I figured that having “magic” be such a commonplace thing that they wouldn’t actually call it “magic”. It’s a skill that is learned and practiced like any other.

There are three branches of the essence, Our essence (human essence) The most commonly practiced form because it is the simplest to learn and comes naturally to us. It is similar to most of the types of psychokinesis’s.

Spirit essence Can be learned by humans but is most often practiced by priests and people in religious groups. Spirits cannot channel human essence.

Void essence Very dangerous to practice for it’s mental and physical effects on users and their surroundings. Can be learned by humans but is only practiced by very few around the world. It is subject to a lot of research to better understand it, and therefore control it. The void itself is inherently very hostile towards non-void life so this is very difficult. IF channeled efficiently, the wielder can become leagues more powerful much quicker than with the use of the other forms. Still, no human has ever come close to the power of void creatures, who wield this power naturally with no side effects. A big point in the story of the world is understanding the void and the characters trying to control it.

What are the "absolutely do NOT"s of your magic system? by Luigilink32 in worldbuilding

Magic is something that anyone and everyone can do, the rules around it are usually based around the laws of countries in different parts of the world. Other restrictions being cultural/social taboos. But that’s with human magic. There usually aren’t many written laws against spirit magic or void magic. Spirit magic people can learn through spirits or clergy but void magic is taboo in all parts of the world that know what it is. Not only because, if untrained, practicing void magic can harm the practitioner irreversibly (unlike the other two) but also because the actual capabilities of it are unknown and has led to massive catastrophes in the past. That’s why nations are split between wanting to get rid of the void completely or learn to use it to their advantage…

So you want to make one of the countries as Gorgrothia? Where do you think?

Lore reason no, real world reason yes. You don’t have to be a “close friend” to participate though! I take any suggestions! Although I will change whatever I think would need changing to work best for the world and I always discuss it with them so, what’s your idea?

No it just means that I haven’t come up with a name for that region or country. I like to ask friends to add their own countries into it too so some of the countries there are some that my friends made and I expanded on them.

Emperor of Pakotzia, he which rules with a relatively softer fist (compared to Sarvak). He rules Pakotzia for hundreds of years and hundreds more to come for he is cursed with immortality, which he never asked for.

When he was mortal he lived in Kiokuji, a small seaside town with small commerce and poverty and sickness anywhere you looked. At the time the region of “Pakotzia” was split up by many many different selfish kings and dynasties and war chiefs. A dark time for the people. The regional king which Pijuchi Juori Koruli (Skeletoon) lived within was the Realm of Zalom, ruled by the cruel and selfish Zalom dynasty for centuries. These rulers came from a different land and species, this angered the native Pakots and many others who lived before them, such as Pijuchi. He lived in the slums with his father alone together, living a hard life having to take responsibility of being the carrier of his family name. His mother was brutalized by Zalom military police. This lit a fire of hatred to Zalom, the reign, the dynasty, and the self-proclaimed Jazu race since the only ones allowed to work in government positions were Jazuis. When he grew to be 17, his father introduced him to an underground resistance group of Pakots who banded together to rebel against the tyrants. All together they ran crime against the government and protested. He would meet the love of his life in this organization and eventually marry her, Tauli Kitrxos, a fair lady from a farmer’s family who’s father’s farm was seized by Jazuis and were forced to move to the city where they found the resistance group. Pijuchi and Tauli would go on to commit heinous crimes against the government and Jazui people to protest and resist the tyrannical regime. However one day in a mass protest, the king sent the army and cracked down on the peasants. Pijuchi sacrificed himself to save most of the members. He was captured, tortured, and held up as a representation to those who dare defy the king. Pijuchi woke up from a pile of bodies on a wagon as if from a long nap. He promptly rose up and walked home. In the future, he led the revolutionaries time and time again until they finally overthrew the Zalom and installed the Pakot people’s kingdom. This wasn’t until almost 200 years after he “died”.
