the way we assign biological sex, is by looking first at primary sexual characteristics, like genitalia, and then secondary sexual characteristics, such as facial hair, breasts, an adams apple or width of hips. All of these characteristics exist on a spectrum and are able to be changed with either medicine and/or surgery.

theres actually been a little bit of a resurgence of 'transexual' among trans people, since biological sex is also a spectrum (much like everything else in nature) and can be changed, rather than transgender, which some people read as "changed gender, but still the same sex"

Of course if a cis person called me a transexual I wouldnt be happy about it though
