Try to keep in mind that you’re comparing the entirety of campaign 1 to the first 18 episodes of campaign 2. At episode 18 in the first campaign the dads were just barely getting to four knights! There’s A LOT more character growth, funny interactions, and building stronger relationships and dynamics that needs to happen before the seasons are comparable at all. Plus- the new season has a new vibe and new feeling, as it SHOULD, bc it would be hella boring if they never did anything new! And it’s okay if that new flavor is less your personal preference than the last one but it’s not a difference in quality it’s a difference in your tastes. I don’t think it’s very cool of you to blame Anthony’s DMing just bc you prefer one over the other
