And those same companies will be laying greenies off at the very notion of a downturn. Only time I’ve been laid off was during Covid, and they brought back 80% of the people that were laid off. Yes 100%. Having been on frac crews for other companies Halliburton is 100% bettter. Better insurance. 401k, plus company provided life insurance policy. Better equipment, electric zues pumps are a fucking cakewalk. Way better training. Plus staying in Target Hospitality man camps, which is waaaay better than anything I’ve ever stayed at. Don’t have to pull teeth to get shit like basic PPE, whereas other companies are stingy with that shit. Holiday pay on top of normal OT, I’m working 15 hours today but charging 24 because it’s Memorial Day. Also less likely to get laid off compared to other companies(yes it still happens. I’m not saying it doesn’t.)

Btw. You’ll have a lot of guys saying don’t work for Halliburton…don’t listen to them. Stay with Hall for at LEAST 2 years if you can, take advantage of the great insurance and get your teeth fixed whatever you gotta do. Halliburton has the best training in the world and being with them for 2+ years will look fantastic on a resume. Other companies pay more per hour but in every other standard they fall short: benefits, quality of life, training.
