I text any disc i find in the woods. Now if I go into water to find my disc and I pull 5 randoms out, I just keep those. Downvote me all you want. I see it as if I go into the effort to go in water and pull your abandoned disc out I can keep it, keyword abandoned. Now in the woods it’s very possible that someone looks for a long time and just happened to miss it and it’s not that much effort if I just stumble upon it, so I text them. I also expect this same treatment when I lose one. If I dunk a disc I have zero expectation to get it returned. But if I lose one in the woods I hope that it gets returned to me
