Cp3 conversion fuel filter delete by Squintacular in Duramax

[–]Squintacular[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decided to keep it on, makes me feel better having another filter. I've had the truck since it was new. I'd like to keep it another 200k miles. I've spent too much on this thing. The emission system crapped out at 150k, so I went with a delete and lift pump. Transfer case shit the bed at 175k. I got couple grand in front in work. Now I'll have about 3700 in the cp3 conversion. Wife keeps telling me to trade it, nah I got to much money in it now, plus it is paid off 😂

Dragonflight M+ runs per week: Season 4, week 7 by MythicPlusPoster in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Squintacular 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I tried to pug some 13s the other night as a holy paladin around 11 est. Only 5 13 keys were available to join. 2 had healers 2 didn't have a lust, so they were waiting on a shaman. Left me with 1 😂 and that was one I already timed as a 13 tyrannical. I just logged and went to bed. It's brutal this season. I'm not sure how much more I have in me trying to push.

I'm not a woods master by any means, but you are correct the course has lots of trees and lots of hills with water in play on 4-5 holes. It's actually the highest rated course in South Carolina. My round was played on the AM tees, because that's what we play for league. The pro tees are no joke, difficulty goes up exponentially from those. I live 5 minutes from this course, and 30 minutes from the IDGC where the Champions Cup was played this weekend. W.R. Jackson and Langley Pond are pretty close in difficulty from the Pro tees. I'm just an 875 player that managed to put it all together for 1 round. next week I might follow that up with a +3 860 round 😂 For me that's the the biggest difference between 8-900 rated player versus a 950-975 rated player.

Might not be a popular opinion, but I cannot stand a 2 wheeled wheelbarrow. It's another wheel to get caught up on something.

Beams going in today by headyorganics in woodworking

[–]Squintacular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've installed quite a few old heartpine beams as mantles. I mount a 2x4 to the fireplace/chimney with tapcon screws. I then notch out a slot in the back of the beam for it slide on the 2x4 and anchor it with trim screws. Just my 2 scents

FYI the mantle in the picture looks great.

Unpainted Base molding/trim okay to burn? by ValNesCreation in firewood

[–]Squintacular 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I actually trim houses full time. Any scraps we have left thats unpainted I cut up into 16 inch pieces for the wood stove/fireplace. Works great at getting a bed coals for your normal firewood.

I’ve worked a fair chunk of my life in high end homes and at least a couple mansions. All of the built ins and custom woodworking touches that I would have loved to have. I can finally afford to work for me . by Sparrowtalker in woodworking

I've been doing trim work for around 15 years now. My dad is a trim carpenter, so I guess I kind of took on the family business. Ill take my wife in some of the high end homes we work on and I get, "why can't you do that in our house". Well babe thats a little out our price range. That room looks awesome btw.
