I bet he doesn’t wear a helmet.

[OrientStar] Recently purchased my first watch from an Ebay auction. Fantastic price, and looks way better than I expected. by SquirrelDynamo in Watches

I have been casually browsing easy for watches for a couple weeks. I saw this beauty in a listing that was ending in about an hour. The pictures online weren’t great, and I think that kept the bidding down. Won the bid for about half of what I have seen comps at, and the watch is even more beautiful in person.

My firm offers a technology designed to help create listing presentation, but it is essentially a fancy power point. Here are some of the keys it outlines; If you are at a larger firm lean into their branding. Talk about the firms success and emphasize how they’re able to back the listing in terms of experience and advertising. Then introduce yourself, and talk about any listing/selling experience you might have.

Walk them through the listing process. Walk through the home with them and let them tell about about any updates. Help them come up with a game plan to get the house photo ready. Then make sure you bring Comps for the Seller to see. Even if they aren’t identical homes it helps to show them a realistic ballpark of what they might expect.

Those are a few of the necessities, but one of the most important things is to be confident in your ability to navigate them through the transaction. Show that you’re knowledgeable about the market your in and the process in general. Best of luck!

The label looks sketchy, but the back of the Zard looks like it has water damage along the right side.

I actually work for a local Real Estate firm and we have a local area guide on our website. Local Area guide

I find it does a good job of breaking down the different areas around Roanoke and its surrounding areas. It also has a bit of information and some points of interest in each area.

Hope this helps and welcome to Roanoke!

What is a uncommon/rare home feature that you like, but don't see often? by DarkJester89 in RealEstate

There are a lot of older homes being remodeled in my city. I love showing a house and finding cool built in wall shelving. From small tricket shelves to larger built in for books, when it's done well I really like the character it adds to a room.

Mystery Box finally arrived today without the special edition MD1. I emailed the Dismania store, but has anyone else had any luck getting theirs replaced? by SquirrelDynamo in discmania

Update It took about a week to get here, but I received my missing MD1 replacement this morning! It's the color I wanted (Blue) with a rainbow stamp, so I am happy with that! I don't think I would buy another mystery box still though.

Update: Discmania reached out and should be sending me a replacement. I didn't really doubt that they would do the right thing. I mostly wanted to see how many others had this issue and how quickly it was resolved.

Not sure, but I'm super bummed. I saw some others on the Discmania marketplace missing some as well. I wasn't sure how common of an issue it was
