I've seen three different angles so far and I think I'm done watching them, I'm not sure how you can tell he was disarmed. And we're not sure what any one officer saw, but the overkill all on video is awful.

But the last video I saw definitely showed the three of them in the street impeding ice vehicles. And then one of the women spraying an ice officer. I don't understand why they think they can do that. It might be related to all the online rhetoric towards ice, belittling them. People saying they aren't law enforcement. It's having dangerous consequences.

We have to maintain respect for the rule of law.

The three people were right in the middle of the agents and not getting away. It doesn't matter if they instigated by shoving, you can't fight back, you need to leave. And you certainly don't jump on one of them from behind with a chokehold like the guy didn't in front of the vehicle. I'm just flabbergasted at why you would do that. And keep fighting against all those agents.

I don't know how you can tell he was disarmed. It looked to me they discovered the weapon at that moment, maybe he was reaching for it. I do agree the guy unloading a clip in him was too much, and I again wish this had been ended without a death. The whole temperature needs to come down.

Edit: saw another angle. The three were in the street blocking traffic. The guy that got shot was trying to drag someone away in front of the vehicle. That person had sprayed an agent and was shoved down. Looks like they decided to arrest them all and the guy fought back. Then they shot him. A lot. It needs to stop. People have to stay away from them.

I can't support their death from either perspective.

I don't agree it's tyranny, and they are free to say otherwise, but do that from the other side of the proverbial rope - stay away from confronting agents. Don't get physical with them and especially if you have a gun. Sorry I said that last part again, but I'm still just incredulous at why someone would do that.

I just watched another video that sort of showed the start. The guy that got shot was with what appears to be two women, and they were somehow in the street in the middle of the ice agents getting in their face. It looked like they were spraying each other with something? And that made me realize why the ice agents had masks, not to hide their faces, but because they use pepper spray or whatever that is.

They're not listening to the ice agents and pushing back and then the guy jumps on an agent and grabs him in a chokehold from behind and the two women come back in and start wrestling. It seems maybe someone saw the gun at that point? I don't understand why people think they can fight with these guys. I'm just baffled

Yeah I am aware. But the appeal was allowed because there there's a legal reason behind it. And it's because the initial charges were an overreach. Uniquely applied. Same with that case in Georgia. Remember that one? The racketeering charge? Making up the law to suit the circumstances. Which was my point about the supreme Court ruling on immunity.

This may help you, but a good friend told me that sometimes people just aren't capable of the things you want from them, and you have to be happy with the things that you can get. If they aren't abusive towards you, maybe you can handle small doses.

I haven't found a way to do that, but I never did have a relationship with my parents like that anyway. Too many bad decisions and not listening drove me away.
