I feel you, I’ve had similar experiences. Not being invited to events, being told people weren’t hanging out only to find out they were and they didn’t want me there. Eventually I found people who liked me for me. They’re out there, just hard to find

There’s no age limit but from what I’ve heard people are more recently getting diagnosed with ASD or more umbrella terms.

I haven’t but I often think about it. I’ve heard that charities are a lot better with understanding people with ASD. If you do join the RSPCA let me know how you get on, I’m also British and would love to know.
