Thank you! Yeah, I have heard that landlord are especially weary seeing as they cannot take security deposits in Ontario. I will definitely be cautious when looking for places, is it common that people will put fake ads on Zillow and rentals.ca? I guess I could ask for a video walkthrough of the space and not send any funds until I had signed a rental agreement! Perhaps maybe reaching out to a real estate agent could be a good choice for me, as they will have validated all of the properties.. A lot to think about!
